How it works
When a user sends a message, Akukita Chat detects the language automatically and translates it for every other participant in their own language. Translations are cached in your database, so the same content is never translated twice — keeping costs and API usage to a minimum.

Privacy first
All chat data is stored in your own WordPress database. The only data sent externally is the message text, transmitted to your chosen translation API. No user data is collected or stored by Akukita.
